The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is proud to partner with the Consulate General Canada in honor of Veterans Day. This evening program will explore the Battle of Vimy Ridge and the American soldiers who served alongside Canadian forces during World War I. Committed to the Allied war effort, these men volunteered to serve before the United States officially entered the conflict. We invite you to join us as we reflect on their service, courage, and sacrifice.
Speakers: Claire M. C. Kennedy, ICd.D, Consul General of Canada, and Scott English, President of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library, will offer remarks to provide historical context and insight into this topic.

Landscapes of the Revolution: Kay Smith’s American Legacy Collection
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is celebrating our nation’s 250th anniversary with a new exhibition, Landscapes of the Revolution: Kay Smith’s American Legacy Collection. The exhibition features original artwork by Illinois Artist Laureate Kay Smith. Known for her exceptional watercolor landscapes, Smith dedicated much of her life to depicting the structures and settings associated with the American Revolution.
