Nakajima Aircraft – Musashino Plant Chart
February 1945Paper
No city suffered worse than Tokyo during the war. As a center of manufacturing it was an easy target for American commanders to strike, and in addition to the deadly attack of March 10, Tokyo would be bombed more than a dozen times during the spring and summer of 1945. The final bombing would occur just two days after the first atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, when bombers targeted the aircraft-part-producing Nakajima Musashino Plant.
