American Gold Star Mothers

American Gold Star Mothers is an organization of mothers who have lost a son or daughter in the service of the United State. It is a Veterans Service Organization, established in 1928 and chartered by the United States Congress in 1984. American Gold Star Mothers continue to honor their sons and daughters through service -- service to veterans and patriotic events.

If you have lost a child in the service to our country and would like the community of others in your situation, American Gold Star Mothers invites you to join. No one knows how you feel like another mother who has lost a child.
