Benefits
Returning veterans are entitled to numerous benefits and sometimes they are unaware of what benefits they may be eligible for. Education assistance, employment opportunities, healthcare, disability assistance, transportation, life insurance, and several other programs are available for veterans. Often these services are provided for little or no charge. Families who have had an immediate relative serve in the military may also be eligible to receive benefits from the federal and state VA systems. In some cases years may pass since separation from the service and there may be benefits that a veteran is still eligible for, and the Veterans Information Center is glad to assist.
