United States Naval History Rare Book Display
Books on display in this section of SEAL The Unspoken Sacrifice were selected from the Pritzker Military Museum & Library's Rare Book Room.
These books provide compelling illustrations on the history of the U.S. Navy—from its beginnings during an era of masts, sails and pirates to the WWII Underwater Demolition Team Divers and Navy SEALs of today. The oldest item on display is a copy of Harper’s Weekly from 1865, featuring a depiction of a Civil War naval battle.
