“One of the hardest parts of being a wife that is different from a corporate guy who is gone a lot, or a fireman/policeman that risks his life every day is going to bed every night wondering where he is, is he OK, is he afraid, will I ever hear his voice again, will I ever see him again, and waking up wondering where he is, is he OK, is he afraid, will I ever see him again, will I ever hear his voice again, for six months, and then doing it all over again…and again…and again.”
