Married to Major Erasmus Corwin Gilbreath’s youngest daughter, Nan, Lieutenant Oliver Edwards served in the 11th Infantry with his father-in-law. The two men served together in Arizona, Florida, and Puerto Rico. This photograph of the two of them was taken in Florida.
