School groups can experience downtown Chicago during their visit to Pritzker Military Museum & Library
Need to know
Every field trip will be greeted by a museum educator with a 15-minute inquiry-based activity and provided a Student Gallery Guide to explore the exhibit. The Museum has new exhibits every 12-18 months.
School Rate: $5.00 per person
Recommended Time: 1-1.5 hour
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is open from Tuesday – Saturday 10AM-4PM.
The Museum & Library will be closed from April 4, 2022 to May 11, 2022 as we prepare for our new exhibit, Life Behind the Wire: Prisoners of War.

The Pritzker Military Museum & Library is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the historic Monroe Building at 104 S. Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL 60603.

Parking
Bus parking is available in the loop near the Adler Planetarium. Please visit ChooseChicago.com/plan-your-trip for more information and or to find the most recent Motorcoach map.
It is recommended to disembark students and chaperones at the nearest Motorcoach Loading Zones before parking. (12.5: Monroe St. Bank of America Theater or 11.4: Millennium Park Harris Theater) Standing longer than 15 minutes is not permitted in Motorcoach Loading Zones.
Field Trip Funding
The Pritzker Military Museum & Library has partnered with the American Battlefield Trust to provide limited application-based field trip grants that cover reimbursement of admission and transportation expenses. (Overnight lodging is not included). Application and approval is required.
Note: American Battlefield Trust administers the field trip grant fund. Pritzker Museum staff cannot assist with questions or concerns on the fund’s reimbursement policies or procedures.
